SNDS started functioning in 1962 with the aim
of uplifting the downtrodden by rendering welfare measures such as
old age pension, financial assistance for education, marriage of
poor girls, donation to other charitable societies, relief after
death to their legal heirs, medical and other distress relief and
also other development activities.
For the aged, elderly and disabled persons,
we have introduced Old age pension scheme.
Physically and financially debilitated
persons are being provided with medical aid, so as to get them solace.
We arrange Eye camp in association
with Coimbatore Aravind hospital to provide necessary services for
the optically weak persons.
To find and cure the cancer related
ailments we have undertaken cancer detection camp in
collaboration with TVM Cancer Research Institute. It provides
necessary guidelines to the patients.
To keep the nutritional needs satisfied we
arrange Rice distribution in lean months to economically weaker
sections of the society
people exclusively.
Under our Medical
aid scheme the needy people get necessary treatment who are in
dire need.
To embark our single trust members on
wedlock, donation to the tune of Rupees 5000/- is
extended to
lead a prosperous married life.
In unforeseen events like death in our
member families we undertake the rituals at free of cost.
